Upholstery and Fine Fabric Cleaning Technician Certifications

AmeriClean sent two of their Certified Carpet Cleaning Technicians to attend an Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC) training seminar in January 2015. Jeff Biggus and David Spade, of AmeriClean, attended the 2-day Upholstery and Fine Fabric Cleaning Technician (UFT) Certification training seminar in which they also took the certifying exam at the end of day 2.

Today, February 17th, 2015, AmeriClean has just received notice that both technicians passed with flying colors. Jeff and David are both now Certified Carpet Cleaning Technicians (CCT) and Upholstery and Fine Fabric Cleaning Technicians (UFT). They plan to attend more employee training programs later this year including the certification for Odor Control Technician (OCT). By acquiring this additional certification, the two expert technicians will achieve the level of Journeyman Textile Cleaner (JTC) where they will go on to pursue the esteemed Master Textile Cleaner (MTC).

These certifications are extremely important to AmeriClean as it proves that they are qualified to do the work. Customers of AmeriClean are reassured that they company is not just sending a new employee fresh off the street into their home to “professionally” clean their textiles. AmeriClean takes the time to create a career path for their employees by showing them that they can study, develop a continuing education, and become true professionally trained technicians in a very rewarding industry.

AmeriClean would like to congratulate both Jeff and David for their achievements.
